Dreams

Here's one of my latest poems:

Dreams

I'm gonna take my dreams,
and hide them away in a jar,
so no one has to see what they are.
And as they fade and whisk away,
I'll wish I could have kept them.
But I know that one day,
they'll find their way to someone who needs them more.
And though I'll ache, and regret, and wish for their return,
Dreams are better off on their own.
